First, check which version you are actually buying

Speed: a real difference, but probably not for you

One account covers your home charger and the largest public charging network in North America, so the app you use to schedule overnight charging is the app you use to start a session at a shopping center. The install ladder matters too, in the other direction from the Emporia.
