Black Friday & Cyber Monday EV Charger Deals 2026

Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday 27 November, with Cyber Monday on Monday 30 November. No deals for 2026 have been announced, and we are not going to invent any. What this page does instead is more useful in September: it sets out what has actually discounted in this category in past years — with dates and sources — what has reliably not, and therefore which of your purchases is worth delaying by two months and which is not.

When 2026 deals go live in November, they will be posted here. Until then, every number on this page is one of exactly two things: a live price from our Amazon feed, stamped with the date we checked it, or a dated historical observation from a named publication. There are no predictions, no "expect 30% off," and no deals that have not happened.

What actually discounts in EV charging

The honest summary is that this category has a clear split. The markdowns concentrate almost entirely on mains-powered charging hardware — wall-mounted Level 2 chargers and portable EVSE — and particularly on the Amazon-native and challenger brands rather than the established names. Published deal coverage from past years bears this out:

• Level 2 wall chargers. In November 2025, 9to5Toys reported the Autel MaxiCharger AC Lite at $398.20 against a $569 normal price — a $171 cut, described as an all-time low that beat the previous year's Black Friday price by a dollar. In a Black Friday 2023 roundup, autoevolution listed a ShockFlo S1 at $395 from $549 (28% off), an Autel unit at $398 from $599 (34%), a TOPDON at $290 from $500 (42%) and an Avapow at $368 from $600 (39%).
• Portable EVSE. The same 2023 roundup listed a ShockFlo portable at $217 from $320 (32% off) and an EVJuicion 32-amp unit at roughly 24% off. Portables move on price for the same reason wall units do: they are competitive, spec-comparable hardware in a crowded field.
• Adapters — sometimes, and unpredictably. The one large adapter markdown in that 2023 coverage was a Stoke Voltaics Tesla-to-J1772 adapter at $79 from $160. That is a real 51% cut, but a single observation is not a pattern, and on a part this cheap the dollar saving is small either way.

What reliably does not discount

Two groups. The first is manufacturer-direct hardware from brands that control their own pricing. Tesla's wall connectors are the clearest example: 9to5Toys reported the Universal Wall Connector at $600 in late November 2025, a $50 cut from $650 — and noted the price had risen to $650 earlier in the year. Reporting on the same product also notes that an ordinary in-year price reduction had previously landed below the holiday price. If you are waiting on Tesla-branded charging hardware for a Black Friday cut, the evidence says do not.

The second is commodity accessories — J-hooks, holsters, receptacles, plug adapters. These items sit in the $9-25 range at their ordinary price, and the autoevolution 2023 Black Friday roundup contained no standalone cable-accessory deals at all. A percentage off a $9 hook is not a reason to wait two months for it.

The caveat that applies to all of this

A sale price is not automatically the best price of the year. The consumer group Which? tracked 175 products across eight major retailers from May 2024 to May 2025, around the 2024 Black Friday sales, and found that 83% were the same price or cheaper on at least one occasion outside the four-week Black Friday window. At Amazon specifically the figure was 88%. Which? also reported that none of the tracked deals were at their cheapest only on Black Friday itself.

That research covers general retail rather than EV charging specifically, and the Autel data point above is a genuine counter-example of a real all-time low landing at Black Friday. Both things are true: substantial November markdowns do happen on chargers, and "it is on sale" is not by itself evidence of a good price. The practical response is to know the product's ordinary price before November so you can tell the difference — which is what the live prices further down this page are for.

Buy now or wait? By product class

Applying the above honestly, rather than telling you to wait for everything because waiting generates clicks:

• Level 2 wall charger — usually worth waiting. This is the class where the largest markdowns have consistently landed, and the dollar amounts are meaningful on a $400-900 purchase. The exception is below.
• Portable Level 2 charger — worth waiting. Same reasoning, smaller absolute numbers. If it is a gift for late December, November is the right time to buy.
• Tesla-branded wall hardware — do not wait for Black Friday specifically. The documented moves are small, and in at least one case an ordinary in-year price cut beat the holiday price. Buy when you need it, and watch the everyday price instead.
• Adapters — buy when you need one. Discounts happen but are unpredictable, and the safety listing matters far more than saving $10. If someone cannot charge without it, that is not a thing to defer.
• Cable management and receptacles — buy now. These are already near their floor. Two months of a tidy garage beats a few dollars.
• Anything the car needs to charge at all — buy now, always. If a new EV has just arrived and its owner is stuck on a slow household socket, the cost of waiting is measured in weeks of bad charging. No markdown pays for that.

It is not a Black Friday deal, not a promise the price will hold, and not a forecast of what November brings.

Every one of our current top picks is listed below with its live price, whether or not it is marked down. That is the baseline worth knowing: if you can see what a charger costs on an ordinary day in September, you can tell in November whether a "deal" is one.

What we will post here in November

When Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals go live, this page gets the ones that are real: the product, the live price, and the ordinary price it is being measured against. What it will not get is a countdown timer, an invented "was" price, or a list of everything on sale regardless of whether it is any good. Our home charger rankings do not change because something is discounted — a cheap charger that was not worth buying in October is not worth buying in November either.
