Disclosure
Affiliate disclosure
Plain-English, and required by the FTC. Here is exactly how the site makes money.
The short version.Volt & Cable is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you buy through a link on this site, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. It never changes our rankings, and it never changes the price you pay.
How our links work
Most product buttons and links on this site route through Amazon with our Associates tag attached. If you click one and make a purchase, Amazon pays us a small percentage of the sale. You pay exactly what you would have paid anyway; the commission comes out of Amazon's margin, not your wallet.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Where a brand-direct store or another retailer is genuinely the better option for you, we may link there instead — and if it is a retailer we do not earn from, we do not attach tracking and we are not paid for the click.
Prices come from the retailer and change
Every price on this site is pulled live from Amazon and stamped with the date we checked it. Prices and availability change constantly. If our data is more than 48 hours old, we hide the number and show "Check price" instead of a figure that may have gone stale. Amazon's price at checkout is always the one that counts.
It does not change our recommendations
No manufacturer or retailer pays us for placement, coverage or a score, and none sends us products in exchange for a review. Commission rates never influence a ranking — which is why you will find a cheaper charger ranked above a pricier one whenever it is the smarter buy. Our method is on the how we research page and our independence standard is in the editorial policy.
